Black White Blinds had a special 2 days opening on 6 & 7 April 2010 at Alliance Française Art Gallery. Didier Bayle painted watercolour paintings of Singapore’s old colonial black & white houses, it’s rare now a days to see people still using watercolour as a medium in Singapore. Thumbs up to Didier Bayle for his beautiful portrayal of Singapore.

It’s amazing that I’m now covering National University Singapore (NUS) Museum Openings too. Encountering Cheong Soo Pieng opening night on 4th March 2010 was my 1st photography collaboration with NUS Museum of many more to come. An exhibition opening at a museum is of course more grand, as it opened by a number of prominent figures such as Prof. Tommy Koh & Prof. T.K. Sabapathy (Singapore Art Historian). Nonetheless, a bigger space for me to run around to photograph. 🙂

On 4th March 2010, Alliance Française de Singapour engaged me again to cover the opening night of Eternal Maya by Tikal Dumas. Tikal’s artworks uses a mixture of digital & traditional medium to express his representation of Maya culture through today’s perception. This mysterious aspect of Maya culture is what Tikal perceived to be his source of life in art. The opening was officiated by Mr. Olivier Caron, Ambassador of France to Singapore.

Oh no! i’m spotted 😛

Happy New Year everyone!

I should start my 1st post in 2010 with a publication of Lucky Plazas opening night event in Singapore Art Gallery Guide, November 2009, Look Back, Pg 76. There will be more publication to come soon 🙂

Please stay tune for more documentary and wedding photography by 🙂

Cheers and love 2010!

20 November 2009 was a night of banking, art appreciation and wine tasting. Citibank’s banking elites and their guests had an enjoyable time at Mulan Gallery appreciating artworks by Jirapat Tatsanasomboon, Kamol Tamseewan and Shi Wei, while sipping the endless flow of red wine. 😉

On 4th September 2009, I was the official photographer for Sonny Liew and Koh Hong Teng duo show: Lucky Plazas opening night at Mulan Gallery. Two comic artists/illustrators venture into the Fine Art world with their paintings which received quite a good feedback. 🙂
