April 2009

12 April 2009, I set up a mini studio space at Jymmy & Melissa’s sweet home for a mom-to-be photoshoot. Expecting their 1st child on mid-may, I was invited to document this special moment for them and baby Issac. A very natural couple who have no problem posing infront of the camera~ i guess baby Issac is going to be the next hottest baby model around soon!

Special Thanks to Jayce Ng for the recommendation

On 19 April 2009, I was the official photographer for DOT Productions to document their Fashion Show for Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Singapore Turf Club. Surrounded by beautiful models and dancers who are taller than me, I really felt the pressure to capture the very best of their magical stunts~  😉

During my break time while shooting the fashion show for Queen Elizabeth II Cup. I was able to roam around to document some photos of People, Horses & Punters at Singapore Turf Club… a very interesting experience for me.

On 21st March 2009 @ Regent Hotel, Singapore, Jimmy and SiauJiong are “finally tying the knot” as announced by the emcee, who are good friends of the couple. Truly a blissful marriage I would say as their actual day wedding photograper.

I was amazed when my friend and student told me that my article on OMY.sg was published in U-Weekly 优周刊, Issue No.174, Pg. 70 & My Paper 我报, 6 Apr 09, Pg  B12. It’s interesting to see this article getting published in hardcopy newspaper and magazine, but sad to see that my nude painting was cropped. Such a good way to censor my paintings…

Special Thanks to Wendy Tan for My Paper & Rowena Lim for U-Weekly notice.

2009’s Good Friday Eve was an unexceptionally colourful, creative and hairy experience! I was honoured to be invited by DOT Productions to document Matrix Hair Extravaganza (artistic hair styling competition) at Singapore Management University, Li Ka Shing Library. Winners were awarded with 2 very “BIG” cheques 🙂

No.7 is my personal favourite for the overall style and the big hairdo, so victorian. *thumbs up*

I was honoured to be the official photographer for the Opening of Afterlife of The Tang Nobility at SG Private Banking Gallery, Alliance Française de Singapour , 7 April 2009. My mission was to document the display layout of the exhibition, nice food and the happenings throughout the night~ L’art est grand !
